CookingFriends is a new project aimed to present friends of ours who are themselves professional chefs. Some of these we’ve known since since school, others we have come to appreciate personally during our career. Our guests get to know a different side of us, and we have the occasion to catch up with old friends. In the end, what counts is the human connection. Because friendship is priceless.

The initial step in this new series takes Wolfgang Reiter, who owns and operates the well-known Wirt z’Neuhausen in Schorfling, Attersee. Wolfgang Reiter and Johannes Schwaninger have known each other since boarding school in Salzburg and have revived their friendship after Johannes’ return to Austria. His restaurant counts among the best in Upper Austria and is famous for both its cuisine and its home-made distillates.
